About the role
As Head of Studio Video Production, you'll lead delivery of high-quality film and video content end-to-end for our clients, managing a department of producers, videographers, editors and post-producers. You'll own projects in their entirety, balancing efficiency, cost and creative excellence, and build trusted relationships with talent, crew and suppliers, taking ownership of budget management and reconciliation.

What you'll do

• Oversee end-to-end coordination across production and post teams, ensuring seamless delivery of video content and performance video.

• Lead the studio production team across multiple ongoing projects.

• Own capacity and staffing planning, forecasting crew/edit bandwidth and flagging gaps early.

• Lead production meetings and ensure deliverables are quality-checked and delivered consistently.

• Build tracking systems for assets, deliveries and reporting, including exec summary views.

• Support recruitment and management of freelance crew, maintaining a vetted talent roster.

• Foster a collaborative culture, act as escalation point for workload/morale, and manage HR needs for staff.

• Own production budgets, negotiate freelance/vendor rates, and deliver cost analysis to leadership.

• Oversee studio equipment, software licenses and vendor relationships.

• Establish post-production workflows, delivery specs and QC standards.

• Manage cross-team communications and maintain SOPs, style guides and KPIs.

• Oversee talent releases, clearances, licensing, contracts, NDAs and H&S compliance.
  

About You

• Proven experience running video production and post-production delivery in a fast-paced studio, agency or in-house environment.

• Strong post-production knowledge and grasp of edit workflows and delivery timelines.

• A confident coordinator who juggles competing schedules and deliverables.

• Comfortable owning scheduling and delegating across production and post teams.

• Highly organised and systems-minded, with hands-on experience tracking assets and reporting on delivery.

• Excellent communicator, able to keep stakeholders aligned across email and Slack.

• Experience delivering live or studio-based content.

• Experience working with talent highly preferable, understanding approvals and sensitivities.

• A sharp eye for quality, with the discipline to QC deliverables under pressure.
